A great opportunity to transform your teaching career from repetitive lecturing to strategic education. Aslan provides English tutoring lessons to students who are in preparation for exams for international schooling. Tutors will be assigned to different tutoring courses according to their experience and areas of expertise.

About the opportunity

  • Vacancy: This is an ongoing recruitment. Please contact us and inform us of your interest area in teaching.
  • Workload: Every lesson is a 2-hour session with no fixed office hours. Yet, tutors are indeed required to be flexible in their schedules.
  • Class type: one-on-one tutoring or small class with no more than 4 students
  • Students: Students between 13-24, preparing for exams for international schooling
  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate with a monthly payment

Qualification & Requirements

  • TEM-8, IELTS 7, TOEFL 100 or above;
  • Teaching experience in high school English, IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT preferred
  • High levels of student motivation and engagement
  • Ability to maximize every student’s opportunity to learn
  • Ability to activate hard thinking processes and skills
  • Ability to use instructional methods most appropriate for meeting the learning objectives.
  • Professional collaboration and collective efficacy
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic culture
  • Tech-savvy and strong familiarity with computers
  • Experience in teaching on the Zoom platform is a must

  • A good laptop with a well-functioning webcam and speaker.
  • Stable high-speed internet connection to ensure smooth web-conference.

Payment and Term:

1 USD 60-90/hour, one hour per week.

2 Hired as a part-time consultant under a Consulting Contract

3 Paid by Aslan Corporation once every four weeks (The Standard Accounting Settlement Cycle)

4 Payment will be wired to your designated bank account
